Abstract

To date, a number of innovations have been made to enhance the behavior and performance of buildings. With its lattice-like aesthetics and high-efficiency structural performance, the Diagrid system is a cutting-edge structural solution for high rise buildings. The terms "diagrid" and "grid" may be literally translated as "diagonal" and "grid," respectively. In contrast to traditional structural systems like braced frames and framed-tube systems, this design eliminates all external vertical columns.
