Abstract
Mountainous terrains pose unique challenges and hazards, especially in adverse weather conditions and low visibility scenarios such as fog, darkness, or sharp curves. This project, "Peak Protection Intelligent Safety Measures for Mountain Routes," aims to enhance safety for travelers by developing an integrated weather monitoring and vehicle assistance system. The system comprises two primary components:1. Intelligent Weather Station: A compact, reliable weather station equipped with temperature, humidity, and pressure sensors is designed to monitor and relay real-time environmental data. This data is transmitted to a web-based interface accessible from any smartphone, laptop, or smart device, enabling travelers to stay informed about current weather conditions, helping them plan their journey more safely and effectively.2. Vehicle Proximity Alert System: An advanced in-car system utilizes ultrasonic sensors to detect the distance of vehicles or obstacles in front of the vehicle. The detected distance is displayed on the car's dashboard, providing real-time alerts to the driver. This feature is particularly useful on narrow, winding mountain roads and in low-visibility conditions such as fog or nighttime driving, significantly reducing the risk of collisions.
