To gather data, we used a questionnaire that was carefully organized and administered by an interviewer, which we translated into Tamil from trustworthy sources. For the analysis of the data, we used SPSS software.RESULTS : In our study,we found that middle aged patients were more satisfied with diabetes time management while being dissatisfied with diet flexibility.Younger individuals show higher dissatisfaction while old aged patients report a significant family burden.Females reported a more treatment related pain and males were generally dissatisfied.Lower QOL is linked to diabetic duration and non compliance to treatment .
