Abstract
In industrial power systems, maintaining anoptimal power factor is essential for efficiency and costeffectiveness. This project presents a 3-phase PowerFactor Improvisor using an Arduino Mega, CTs (CurrentTransformers), and PTs (Potential Transformers). Whenthe PF drops below 0.93 due to inductive loads likechoke coils, capacitors from a capacitor bank areswitched in parallel with the load to restore the PF to0.98. The system continuously monitors PF and appliesreal-time corrections, improving energy efficiency andreducing penalties. A combination of resistive (100Wbulbs) and inductive loads (tube lights with choke coils)is used for testing. The project provides an automatedsolution for industries, optimizing power usage andminimizing unnecessary energy wastage
