Abstract
One of the most difficult operations in otolaryngology head and neck surgery is rhinoplasty. Excellent surgical skills and careful preparation are necessary for consistent positive results. More than a century after the first rhinoplasty, there are still a lot of unanswered questions about indications and methods. This article's goal is to examine contemporary ideas and arguments. An excellent operation for otolaryngology trainees to include in their training and future medical careers is rhinoplasty surgery. The lower third of the nose, including the alar cartilage and tip-supporting elements known as the distal movable framework, is covered in this article, which is the third in a series on surgical anatomy for Asian rhinoplasty. The purpose of this study was to investigate surgical correction for a postoperative constricted nose and assess the cosmetic results, comorbidities, and reoperation rates. Medical rhinoplasty, also referred to as non-surgical nose treatment, has become one of the most popular face beauty procedures. Enhancing the nasal dorsal contour by dorsal augmentation (DA) rhinoplasty is a crucial component of rhinoplasty. As the need for cosmetic nasal refinement increases, a variety of methods are available for DA. The goal of this study is to present a thorough summary of the methods currently employed in DA rhinoplasty.
