Abstract
The formulation and assessment of a natural herbal hair dye using plant-based ingredients Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum), Curry Leaves (Murraya koenigii), Neem (Azadirachta indica), Amla (Phyllanthus emblica), and Henna (Lawsonia inermis)are the main objectives of this work. The research's aim is To provide a safe, non-toxic, and efficient substitute for synthetic dyes due to growing concerns about their negative consequences, including skin irritation, hair damage, and environmental destruction. The basic ingredients were completely dried. And ground into powders, then they were diluted geometrically and blended to create the herbal powders. Organoleptic, physicochemical, phytochemical, and rheological analyses were completed. On the fished formulation. Patch testing revealed no symptoms of discomfort, a pH of 6, and satisfactory stability. They added sugars, volatile oils, and alkaloids. To conform the combination to conform its therapeutic usefulness. This natural dye provides coloration while nourishing the hair and scalp, making it a practical and environmentally responsible substitute for synthetic competitors.
