Abstract

The term VUCA originated in the US military in the late 1990s and is a way of assessing and providing for the changeability of general situations and events. Today, Education is the utmost need and undoubtedly one of the most important pillars of civilization for its evolution, existence, survival and proliferation. In a Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity & Ambiguity (VUCA) world, education industry became responsible to provide global education incorporating attitude, skills and knowledge. The reinvention of education to embed fruitful paradox a place to focus the sustainability and enrichment through learning activitiesas a core mission. Education can step up by holding and creating a space to educate and develop globally responsible leaders, enabling business organizations to serve the common goal and transformation of economy for sustainable development. We agree that human cannot limit their creative talent to concern only with questions of how much profit can be made, how cost can be minimized or how investments can be expanded as a first priority. There is increasing awareness in management disciplines of the need and possibilities to infuse civic responsibility, holistic wisdom and values in the education. In this VUCA world, we can create human beings that can change the way we organize our relationships with other human beings, our relationships with organizations and Earth. Alder and Hansen (2012), indicated that courage can transform convictions and compassion into action. Management educators can be the daring defenders and advocates of faith and values in living and lending in this VUCA world of compassion, peace, justice and sustainability.
