Abstract
The advent of digital bankinghas transformed the financial industry,offering unparalleled convenience tocustomers while introducing heightenedrisks of digital fraud. This paper presents arobust banking management system aimedat enhancing security through real-timefraud detection and prevention. Developedusing Java, Swing for an intuitive userinterface, and MySQL for efficient databasemanagement, the system leverages rule-based algorithms to identify suspicioustransaction patterns, such as more than fivetransactions or cumulative amountsexceeding 50,000 within a one-minutewindow. Employing a sliding windowalgorithm, the system ensures real-timemonitoring, minimizing false positives, andproviding timely alerts for potential threats.The research underscores the balancebetween robust security and maintaining aseamless user experience, offering insightsinto combating financial fraud in anincreasingly digital-first ecosystem.Keywords: Fraud Detection, Digital Banking,Sliding Window Algorithm, TransactionMonitoring, Banking Security.
