Abstract
This Android-based application leverages Google ML Kit and Roboflow to detect and classify waste automatically from uploaded images. Users can take or upload an image, and the system processes it in real time, identifying the type of waste and assessing its level. The classification results are stored in Firebase, where an admin can review the waste data and update the collection status. By utilizing AI-powered image classification, the system improves waste management efficiency, minimizes human intervention, and ensures accurate segregation. This project aims to promote sustainable waste disposal by simplifying waste categorization and optimizing cleanup operations, ultimately contributing to a cleaner environment. Additionally, it provides real-time analytics to help track waste trends and optimize collection strategies. With its automated and intelligent approach, the system enhances decision-making for waste management authorities.
