Abstract
The sudden global shift to distance learning brought unprecedented challenges to teachers across different subject areas, with Home Economics (HE) teachers facing some of the most complex transitions due to the practical and hands-on nature of their discipline. The COVID-19 pandemic catalyzed a worldwide transformation of instructional delivery, compelling educators to adopt unfamiliar digital platforms, redesign learning materials, and manage virtual classrooms with limited preparation (UNESCO, 2020). For HE teachers, the transition was particularly difficult because many of their learning competencies rely heavily on demonstration, tactile engagement, and real-time supervision elements that are inherently difficult to replicate in online settings
