Abstract
This conceptual paper delves into the deep philosophical and psychological dimensions of Buddhist epistemology, examining its foundational alignment with modern educational psychology. Central to the discussion is the Buddhist concept of "Sang Pratyaksha" (direct experiential perception), which is analyzed in the context of contemporary theories such as schema theory, meaningful learning, apperception, and multimedia learning. The study explores how ancient Indian knowledge systems, particularly Buddhist thought, provide a robust framework for understanding inclusive, democratic, and constructivist educational practices. By tracing theoretical intersections, this paper presents an integrated model for holistic cognitive development and transformative educational practice.
