Paper Contents
Abstract
The deodar is a well-known tall, evergreen tree that grows in India's highlands, including the Himalayas. It has a cone-like shape and yields brown seeds. Its strong and resilient wood is used to build doors, furniture, houseboats, and other things. The tree's abundance of terpenoids, flavonoids, and essential oils is thought to be responsible for its therapeutic qualities. These compounds possess antimicrobial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and neuroprotective qualities. The current review included a synopsis and presentation of an essay on the phytochemistry, biological activity, and medicinal uses of the C. deodara plant.
