Abstract
This systematic review synthesizes the literature critically on the use of the MERN stackMongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.jsfor the development of scalable and interactive e-commerce websites. In contrast to conventional reviews that are limited to summarizing prior studies, this paper explores a rigorous methodological design in comparing technological strategies, discusses performance metrics, and clarifies the relationship between security, scalability, and user experience. Through highlighting critical research gaps and introducing a conceptual framework, this paper provides actionable recommendations and strategic insights for ongoing studies. This integrative study is intended to be a strong reference for academic researchers and industry practitioners aiming to maximize digital commerce in a more dynamic technological environment.
