Abstract
This research investigates the use of digital tools for analyzing and strengthening reinforced concrete (RCC) structures to support additional loads. A 15-year-old three-storey RCC building in Hadapsar, Pune, was modeled using Etabs 22.0.0 and retrofitted with column jacketing to accommodate two additional floors. The retrofitted structure exhibited enhanced axial strength, stiffness, and seismic resilience. The approach is cost-effective, sustainable, and complies with Indian Standard codes. The study highlights the efficacy of digital simulation and column jacketing for vertical expansion of existing structures.
