Abstract
In the modern information-driven world, quick and reliable communication is essential in public and institutional environments. Traditional notice boards, which rely on manual updates, are inefficient, time-consuming, and lack the flexibility to display dynamic content. To address these challenges, this paper presents the design and implementation of an IoT-enabled Electronic Notice Board that can be operated through an Android mobile application. The proposed system integrates a microcontroller, Wi-Fi module, and LED display to enable wireless transmission of messages directly from an Android phone. Users can create, update, or delete notices remotely in real-time, thereby eliminating manual intervention and ensuring faster information dissemination. The system is cost-effective, scalable, and user-friendly, making it suitable for schools, colleges, offices, shopping malls, and transportation hubs. Experimental results demonstrate smooth operation, reliable performance, and reduced maintenance compared to existing static or semi-digital systems. This work highlights the potential of IoT-based solutions to enhance communication efficiency and provides a foundation for future improvements such as multilingual support, cloud integration, and multimedia display capabilities.
