Abstract
AbstractThis study delves into the role of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) as a key driver of womens economic empowerment, particularly in fostering the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in India. The paper explores how SHGs contribute to the MSME sector by facilitating access to finance, skill development, and entrepreneurship for women, while also addressing the socio-economic challenges they face. Through a comprehensive analysis, including case studies from various regions, this research presents actionable insights on enhancing the impact of SHGs in promoting sustainable MSME growth, overcoming existing barriers, and proposing practical solutions for improving government support.
