Abstract: Integrating blockchain technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems represents a transformative approach to modern surveillance. This article explores how combining blockchains decentralized, immutable ledger with AIs advanced analytics enhances security, privacy, and data integrity in CCTV systems. Motivated by the need to address challenges such as data tampering, unauthorized access, and inefficiencies in traditional surveillance, the study employs a comprehensive literature review, proposes an integrated system architecture, and presents a case study simulation. Key findings demonstrate improved tamper-resistance, real-time video analytics, and decentralized access control via smart contracts.
