Abstract
Samplepreparationbasedonextractiontechniquesplaysacrucialroleintheanalyticalprocess,asitensuresaccurateandreliableanalysisofanalytesbyeliminating matrixinterferences. However,traditionalsamplepreparations,whichheavilyrelyonhazardouschemicalsolvents,arethoughttobethetime-consumingandlabor-intensiveaspectofanalysis. Accordingtotheprinciplesofgreenanalyticalchemistry,usingsustainablegreensolventsinsamplepreparationmicroextractionproceduresgreatlyaidsintheadvancementofgreenanalyticalapproaches. Thesesustainablegreensolventscanbeadaptedaspotentialextractantsforparticularmicroextractionjobsbyutilizingtheirsolventationqualitiesandgreennessmerits.Thiswillenableaneffectiveandenvironmentallyresponsiblesamplepreparationprocessbeforeinstrumentalanalysis.
