Abstract
OTT(Over-the-top) platforms have been improved significantly over the years due to advancements in technologies, user preferences and competition. In older days, CDs and DVDs are used. The transition from CDs and DVDs to OTT platforms represents a dramatic shift in how media is consumed. OTT platforms are digital streaming services that provide video content over the internet without requiring any cables or satellite TV subscriptions. These platforms allows users to access movies, TV shows, web series and live content anytime and anywhere, using devices like smartphones, laptops, smart TVs and gaming consoles.As of 2024, the global OTT video market has experienced substantial growth, with approximately 3.92 billion users worldwide. With the rapid growth of Over-the-top (OTT)streaming services, understanding user preferences and experiences has become crucial. This study explores that which OTT platform is most popular among users and which factor influenced their choices.A Survey was conducted to collect data on platform usage, satisfaction levels and reason for preference. This study aims to provide details about which platform is mostly used and the reasons behind users preferences, including factors such as content variety, pricing models and user experience.
