Abstract
Facial Emotion Recognition (FER) is an essential application of machine learning in human-computer interaction. This project aims to design and implement a system capable of recognizing human emotions from facial expressions using a convolutional neural network (CNN). The system is developed using TensorFlow in a Jupyter Notebook environment. It processes images to classify emotions such as happiness, sadness, anger, surprise, and others.
