Abstract
Uzbekistan is taking significant steps toward transitioning to a green economy in line with global sustainability goals and the Paris Agreement. This article examines the fiscal mechanisms current-ly in place and under development to stimulate green investments in Uzbekistan. It outlines the fis-cal tools used, such as green taxes, subsidies, carbon pricing mechanisms, and public procure-ment strategies, and evaluates their potential to accelerate the green transition in the country.
