Abstract
The shift towards flexible working arrangements (FWAs), including remote work, flexi time, and compressed workweeks, has significantly redefined traditional employment models. This study explores the impact of FWAs on employee productivity, drawing on recent empirical evidence and organizational case studies. Findings indicate that, when effectively managed, FWAs can lead to higher levels of employee satisfaction, reduced absenteeism, and improved performance outcomes. Key factors influencing these results include job type, employee autonomy, managerial support, and access to necessary technology. However, challenges such as communication barriers and reduced team cohesion may offset these benefits if not addressed proactively. This paper concludes that while FWAs are not a one-size-fits-all solution, they have strong potential to enhance productivity in modern workplaces when implemented strategically.
