Abstract
The growing demand for herbal and natural skincare solutions has encouraged the development of topical formulations with minimal side effects. This study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of a herbal face serum specifically designed to treat acne and pimples. The serum is enriched with natural components such as Aloe vera gel Dronpushpi (Leucas aspera) extract , Tea tree oil, Jojoba oil, Blueberry extract , Vitamin E, and Salicylic acid. Each ingredient has been selected for its established therapeutic potential in dermatological care. Aloe vera provides hydration and anti-inflammatory effects, while Leucas aspera is known for its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Tea tree oil acts as a natural antiseptic, and Jojoba oil helps in balancing skin sebum production. Blueberry extract contributes antioxidant benefits, Vitamin E offers skin regeneration support, and salicylic acid aids in unclogging pores. The serum was evaluated for its physical properties, stability, pH, skin irritation potential, and overall effectiveness on acne-prone skin. Preliminary results suggest that the formulated herbal serum is stable, well-tolerated, and effective in reducing acne lesions without causing dryness or irritation. This formulation serves as a promising natural alternative to synthetic anti-acne products.
