Abstract
This study presents an enviro-economic and exergo-economic analysis of a solar distillation system (DSUS) integrated with N-identical concentrating parabolic collectors (N-CPC) and a helical coiled heat exchanger enhanced with AlO nanoparticles. Simulations were performed under New Delhis climatic conditions using MATLAB, with input data from the Indian Meteorological Department, Pune. Seasonal variations were considered to evaluate annual energy output and system performance. The analysis compared the proposed system with a baseline setup over lifespans of 15 and 20 years. Results show an 8.5% increase in yield, 7.31% higher annual exergy, and a reduction in CO-equivalent emissions by 3.9% and 2.85%, respectively. Productivity improved by 5.17%, and exergo-economic performance rose by 4%. These findings confirm the proposed configuration's superior efficiency and sustainability
