Abstract
Effective management relies heavily on decision-making, and various models have been developed to understand how managers make choices. This paper explores two key theories: the Economic Man model, which assumes rational, utility-maximizing decisions, and the Administrative Man model, introduced by Herbert Simon, which acknowledges the limitations of human cognition and the constraints managers face. By comparing these models, the paper highlights their influence on management practices and organizational decision-making.
