Abstract
Psychological safety, defined as a shared belief that the workplace is safe for interpersonal risk-taking, has emerged as a critical factor influencing employee behavior, communication, and safety outcomes in high-risk industrial environments. This paper explores the relationship between psychological safety and accident rates in industries such as oil and gas, construction, and manufacturing, where hazards are prevalent. Drawing upon existing literature and case studies, the research highlights how fostering psychological safety can reduce accidents by encouraging open communication, reporting of near-misses, and proactive risk management. Recommendations for organizational practices aimed at enhancing psychological safety are discussed. Keywords: Analysis, investigation, research
