Abstract
Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs) are gaining prominence due to their distinctive attributes of connectivity. Consequently, a pertinent issue arises regarding the assurance of Quality of Service (QoS) in such a perpetually fluctuating communication milieu. This paper articulates a Hybrid Network model characterized by attributes such as scalability, robustness, rapid deployment, portability, cost-effectiveness, and the attainment of desired Quality of Service (QoS). The proposed Hybrid Ad-hoc Network (HANET) topology integrates static nodes derived from the grid topology of the Static Ad-hoc Network (SANET) with mobile nodes originating from the random topology of the Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET).
