Abstract
In today's digital world, mobile safety apps are super important for keeping us safe in all sorts of situations. Lots of humans, like people traveling alone, students, and older adults, rely on these apps to send emergency messages, share their location, and let others help them when needed the most. But, most safety apps need a strong internet connection to work well. This can be a problem because they might not work so great in rural areas, places hit by disasters, underground, or anywhere the internet is not available. When something bad happens, it's really important to get help fast. Offline safety apps are made to work even if you can't get online. They use things like SMS alerts, sharing the last place you were, and sensors on your phone to make sure help is on its way quickly and reliably. By using simple mobile tools like SMS, which still work even when the network is bad, these apps help you stay safe even when you can't get online.Besides just sending messages, offline systems can also do cool stuff like letting you trigger SOS with your voice, sending silent alerts, and even knowing if you've fallen or been still for too long using sensors. This makes them great for people on the move, those who work far away, and anyone who might not always have internet access.Having offline features in safety apps not only makes them work better but also helps with disaster plans by making sure they keep working even when regular ways of talking to each other stop working. In the end, offline safety apps make things safer and easier for everyone, making sure you can always reach out for help no matter where you are or if you can get online.
