Abstract
With the rapid expansion of e-commerce platforms, consumers often face difficulties in locating the best prices and deals across different online stores. To address this challenge, this project proposes the development of an Online Comparison Shopping Website that consolidates product information from multiple vendors into a single platform. The system allows users to register, log in, search for products, and view comparative pricing and product details in an organized manner. Built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript for the frontend, and PHP with MySQL for the backend, the website emphasizes ease of use, security, and scalability.The core functionality of the platform lies in its dynamic product comparison engine, which retrieves and displays the best available deals based on user queries. User accounts are securely managed with proper authentication mechanisms, ensuring a personalized experience. The database is structured to maintain efficient storage of product information, vendor details, and user profiles. Furthermore, the websites interface is designed to be responsive and intuitive, enhancing accessibility across various devices. Initial testing indicates that the system significantly reduces the time and effort consumers spend searching for optimal products. The application also introduces features such as sorting, filtering, and favorites management, offering users greater flexibility in their shopping journey. Future work will focus on integrating real-time data feeds from external APIs, applying machine learning algorithms for product recommendations, and expanding support for a broader range of product categories. The proposed system demonstrates promising potential in becoming a comprehensive tool for smarter online shopping.
