Abstract
Abstract:- The present investigations have been reported on Coka dam of Papra Satna district (M.P.) rural area Vindhya region. The latitude of Satna, Madhya Pradesh, India is 24.579716, and the longitude is 80.832176. Satna, Madhya Pradesh, India is located at India country in the Cities place category with the gps coordinates of 24 3446.9776'N and 80 4955.8336'E. A number of large anthropogenically constructed fresh water impoundment has come in to existence in India. During the last four decades earlier various multipurpose river-valley projects have been existed. Fish production in Indian reservoirs varies from water to water depending upon its fisheries development. The Coka dam has been under constant threat of pollution by sewage and wastes, disposal of dead bodies, deforestation, excessive use of fertilizers and pesticides, bathing and water development programmes. It is of great Importance for the region because its water is used for human and cattle consumption, power generation, fish production and irrigation.
