The Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) in India have been the backbone of the nation's industrial development. In the present scenario these organizations are constantly seeking methods to improve productivity and quality. This article explores the role of Quality Circles (QCs) as a potent tool for fostering workplace improvement within India's public sector industries. A Quality Circle is a small group of employees who voluntarily meet regularly to identify, analyse and solve work-related problems.
