Abstract
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programs in Indias private Tier-2 and Tier-3 business schools are designed to serve as career accelerators. These programs promise market-aligned curricula, corporate engagement, and global exposure. However, the actual delivery often contradicts these claims. This paper critically examines the structural and operational gaps in these institutions, focusing on curriculum design, placement practices, industrial engagement, and the commodification of global immersion programs. The analysis suggests that management education is increasingly becoming transactional, resulting in disillusioned students and underprepared graduates
