Abstract
This study explores the dynamic evolution of digital marketing through an in-depth case analysis of Flipkart, one of Indias leading e-commerce platforms. Starting from its inception in 2007 as an online bookstore, Flipkart has transformed its marketing strategies from basic online advertising to highly sophisticated, data-driven digital campaigns. The research highlights key milestones such as the integration of social media, mobile-first approaches, the launch of the Big Billion Days sale, and the application of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and big data analytics to drive personalization and customer engagement. Emphasizing current digital strategies, the study examines how Flipkart employs influencer marketing, content creation, voice search optimization, and omni-channel experiences to maintain a competitive edge.
