Abstract

The launch of 5G technology marks the beginning in a transformative age for cloud networking, bringing with it both unprecedented opportunities and new challenges. This paper examines the profound impacts of 5G on cloud networking by examining the convergence of massive device scalability, low latency, and high-speed connectivity. The creation of edge computing architectures, real-time applications like Internet of Things (IoT) deployments and augmented reality (AR), and enhanced mobile computing capabilities are among the opportunities. Among the hurdles include adjusting cloud infrastructures to fully exploit 5G, managing increasing data volumes, and upholding strict security and privacy rules. Future developments indicate a shift toward distributed cloud architectures, enhanced network slicing for tailored service delivery, and advancements in AI-driven network management. Additionally, cloud computing has become a key element in the expansion of the telecom industry and the acceleration of global economic growth with the new 5G architecture. Cloud computing has completely changed how data is handled, stored, and sent, even though 5G is a new generation of mobile communication that promises faster speeds, more connectivity, and lower latency. An overview of the technology's development and application in both domains is given in this article within the telecom industry. More attention is paid to the economic effects of these technologies in relation to revenue, market dynamics, and company plans.
