Abstract
This comprehensive research paper examines the strategic role of employee engagement in enhancing organizational performance. Grounded in foundational theories by Kahn (1990), Rothbard (2001), and the Penna Engagement Hierarchy (2007), the study investigates the multifaceted nature of engagement and its correlation with organizational outcomes such as productivity, innovation, customer satisfaction, employee retention, and profitability. The paper also identifies the key drivers influencing engagement, including leadership, communication, job design, empowerment, and career development. Using both qualitative and quantitative insightsincluding a case study of Zenith Technologies Pvt. Ltd.the study explores how engaged employees contribute meaningfully to achieving strategic goals. Finally, the paper addresses prevailing research gaps and proposes practical strategies for fostering sustained engagement, highlighting its relevance in todays dynamic and increasingly digital business landscape.
