Abstract
Gender representation in legislative bodies has been a subject of growing attention in recent decades, with a rising global focus on improving the participation of women in political decision-making. This paper explores the impact of gender representation on legislative outcomes, analyzing how the increased participation of women influences policy priorities, legislative effectiveness, and overall governance. Drawing on case studies from different regions, the paper examines the role of gender parity in influencing areas such as social welfare, education, health, and labor laws. The research employs a comparative approach, focusing on the differences and similarities in legislative outcomes based on gender representation in countries with varying levels of female participation. The findings suggest that gender representation has a significant impact on legislative outcomes, contributing to more inclusive and diverse policies, though challenges remain in achieving full gender equality in political representation.
