Abstract
It discusses how social innovation acts as a powerful tool to fight global poverty and vulnerability. The paper presents a large-scale analysis of various initiatives worldwide, highlights critical success factors (cross-sector partnerships, community involvement, policy support), and suggests aligning social innovation with Sustainable Development Goal 1 (SDG1). It emphasizes combining grassroots efforts with structural policy changes for sustainable poverty reduction.
