Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a paradigm shift in which commonplace items are linked together to gather, share, and act upon data. This interconnection encompasses a wide variety of physical items that are integrated with sensors and actuators, going beyond conventional computing equipment. IoT applications are extensive and significant, affecting many industries worldwide. The Internet of Things is generating unprecedented efficiency, convenience, and innovation in a variety of fields, including smart cities and homes, industrial automation, healthcare, and agriculture. With billions of devices currently connected and predictions of exponential growth, the Internet of Things is growing at an astounding rate globally. Recent data indicates that the worldwide IoT market grew by 21.5% to $201 billion in 2022 and is expected to continue to grow, highlighting the widespread integration of IoT into both industrial and personal everyday life.The strategic significance of the Internet of Things is critical in the Indian environment. India stands to benefit greatly from IoT applications due to its fast growing economy and population. National development goals are in line with the technology's ability to solve issues in smart cities, healthcare, agriculture, and industrial processes. In India, IoT deployment promotes economic development, sustainability, and efficiency. The Internet of Thingsrevolutionary effects on India's socioeconomic environment, as it continues to develop internationally, cement its position as a driving force behind innovation and advancement, pointing to a day when intelligence and connection will come together to improve people's lives and the country as a whole
