IJPREMS Journal encourage the best standards of publication ethics and take all possible measures against publication malpractices. These guidelines are fully consistent with the COPE Principles of Transparency and Best Practice Guidelines and the COPE Code of Conduct. As an essential issue, publication ethics needs to be explained clearly to improve the quality of the research worldwide. In this part, we explain the standard for editors, authors, and reviewers. Publisher don’t have right to interfere with the integrity of the contents and only support to publish in timely manner.

Editorial Responsibilities

  1. The Editors’ decisions to accept or reject a manuscript for publication should be based on the importance, originality, clarity, and relevance of the paper. Editors should process manuscripts submitted in a timely manner.
  2. Editors should ensure that appropriate reviewers are selected for submissions.
  3. Any manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents.
  4. The editor should be responsible for deciding which articles should be published.
  5. Editors may be guided by the journal's policies and legal requirements regarding copyright and plagiarism.
  6. Editors should have no potential conflicts of interest with respect to the manuscript.
  7. Editors and staff should not reveal the identity of reviewers.

Duties and Responsibilities of Reviewers

  1. Peer review assists the editor in making editorial decisions and helps authors improve their papers.
  2. Reviewers should contribute fairly and objectively.
  3. Reviewers need to comment on ethical questions and possible misconduct.
  4. Reviewers should complete reviews on time or notify the editor if they cannot.
  5. Manuscripts must be treated confidentially.
  6. Information obtained via review must not be used for personal advantage.
  7. Reviews should be conducted objectively with supporting arguments.
  8. Reviewers should identify uncited relevant work.
  9. Reviewers should alert editors to any overlap or similarity with other works.
  10. Referees should decline reviews if unqualified or unavailable.

Authors Responsibilities

  1. Research should comply with ethical and legal standards.
  2. Results should be presented clearly, honestly, and without manipulation.
  3. All appropriate co-authors should be included with consent.
  4. Authorship should be limited to those with significant contributions.
  5. All contributors must be acknowledged.
  6. No plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
  7. Authors must agree to the open access policy.
  8. Papers should include sufficient detail for replication.
  9. Authors may be asked to provide raw data and ensure reproducibility.
  10. Works of others must be cited appropriately.
  11. Duplicate submissions are not acceptable.
  12. Authors must correct or retract errors promptly.

Editors and reviewers will ensure submitted articles are original, reviewed fairly, and processed promptly based on expertise availability.

Dealing With Potential Misconduct

Editors must investigate suspected misconduct in both published and unpublished works. They should seek responses from authors and, if unsatisfactory, escalate to employers or institutions. Editors must ensure proper investigations and pursue resolution if misconduct is confirmed.

Plagiarism

All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism. Authors declare originality upon submission. While the Editor verifies integrity, ultimate responsibility lies with authors. Plagiarism occurs when work is copied without credit. Authors must acknowledge all sources and build upon prior research responsibly.

Ethical Oversight

If research involves chemicals, humans, animals, or hazardous equipment, authors must disclose risks and provide ethical approvals when necessary. Confidential data should be handled with justification and securely managed.
