Abstract
Machine learning is a type of artificial intelligence, focused on building computer systems that learn from data. The broad range of techniques it encompasses enables software applications to improve their performance over time. It is a subfield of artificial intelligence, which is defined as the capability of a machine to imitate intelligent human behaviour.
