Abstract
HRA is defined as a process of identifying and measuring data about human resources and communicating to the information to the interesting parties. The aim of bringing human resource in the category of asset of the organization resulted in series of efforts made in the field of Human Resource Accounting. Many researchers developed different methods of measuring Human Resource Values. This paper will be present the study of the development and need of human resource accounting, to study the modals and methods used for human resource accounting, to study the human resource accounting practices in selected companies in India and to study the challenges of adopting human resource accounting.Keywords: Human Resource Accounting Practices, Modals and Methods, Challenges.
