Abstract
ABSTRACTThe rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has led to a new concept, agentic intelligence. In this concept, autonomous AI agents act with goal-directed behaviour, adaptable decisionmaking, and ongoing learning abilities. This case study looks at how AI agents are used and their impact in several fields, such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing, logistics, and customer service. By analysing specific applications in these industries, the study shows how AI agents are improving efficiency, increasing decision accuracy, cutting costs, and fostering innovation. Key examples include healthcare diagnostic assistants, autonomous financial trading bots, predictive maintenance agents in manufacturing, supply chain optimization systems, and smart customer support chatbots. The paper also discusses the challenges related to agentic intelligence. These include ethical concerns, bias, transparency, and following regulations. The findings indicate that while AI agents can be transformative, their successful use needs strong governance, clarity, and collaboration between humans and AI. This case study offers important insights for stakeholders who want to use agentic intelligence as a strategic tool for gaining an edge in the changing digital economy.
