Abstract
Livestock management entails managing cattle and supervising farm workers. Livestock management calls for knowledge of animal technology and animal husbandry, in addition to accurate commercial enterprise sense. Many livestock managers have to additionally maintain economic information for his or her operations.Livestock management is the rearing of cattle for milk, meat and agricultural purposes. Animal Husbandry has great influence on the economic status of the farmers, in turn it places an important role in rural economy. The main occupation of majority of rural population in the Tumkur district.
