This paper explores the role of AI to enhance the software development life-cycle particularly as it relates to Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD).This paper explores how AI can be used to enhance the use of test automation, monitoring and alarms to ensure highly reliable CICD pipelines and software development. It explores how AI can add value to ensure more reliable and proactive response to failed tests, performance issues, and critical failures in software systems.
