Abstract
This study explores the profound impact of socio-economic background on educational achievement, focusing on the intricate relationships between financial resources, parental education, and social capital in shaping studentsacademic outcomes. Education is widely recognized as a powerful tool for upward social mobility, yet disparities in socio-economic conditions often create unequal opportunities for learning and success. This research examines how factors such as household income, parental involvement, access to educational resources, and community environment influence studentsperformance at various educational stages. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, integrating quantitative data from standardized academic performance metrics and qualitative insights gathered through interviews with educators, parents, and students. Through a comparative analysis of urban and rural settings, the research highlights the challenges faced by socio-economically disadvantaged students, including limited access to technological resources, insufficient learning support, and psychological stress caused by financial insecurity.
