Abstract
In this technological era a hugenumber of people have become victims ofimage forgery. A lot of people usetechnology to manipulate images and use itas evidences to mislead the court. So to putan end to this, all the images that areshared through social media should becategorized as real or fake accurately. Social media is a great platform tosocialize , share and spread knowledge butif caution is not exercised, it can misleadpeople and even cause havoc due tounintentional false propaganda. Especiallyin the political arena, manipulated imagescan make or break a politicianscredibility. Current forensic techniquesrequire an expert to analyze the credibilityof an image. We implemented a systemthat can determine whether an image isfake or not with the help of machinelearning and thereby making it availablefor the common public.
