Abstract
ABSTRACT: This study proposes a method to enhance the performance of miniaturized microstrip patch antennas (MPAs) loaded with a high relative permittivity thin film. The thin film decreases the resonance frequency while maintaining the antenna's patch dimensions. Genetic Algorithms (GAs) are used to optimize the patch dimensions. The resonance frequency is reduced from 5.8 GHz to 4.0 GHz, and the antenna area is minimized. The proposed antenna improves return loss, bandwidth, and Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR), enhancing its overall performance. Hence, this analysis shows high accuracy and less area.
