Abstract
In todays highly dynamic work environment, the ability to manage projects efficiently is one of the most critical factorsfor organizational success. Project management systems (PMS) serve as technological frameworks that enable projectmanagers and teams to organize resources, coordinate workflows, and monitor progress in real time. This paper discussesthe design and implementation of a lightweight project management system developed using the Flask web frameworkand SQLite database. The system allows administrators to create projects, assign tasks, and monitor progress, whilemembers can view their tasks and update their status. By limiting visibility based on roles, the system ensures secure andorganized collaboration. This research highlights the need for affordable, customizable PMS tools for small and mediumsized teams and explores their benefits over manual project management practices.
