Abstract
This project introduces a Smart QR-Based Digital Bus Ticketing and Fare Management System that digitizes traditional bus ticketing using QR scanning technology. The system enhances public transport efficiency by allowing passengers to scan a QR code to access a digital ticketing interface, select travel routes, and automatically calculate fares. With a focus on sustainability, it eliminates paper-based tickets, reduces manual errors, and ensures transparency. Built using React.js and Node.js (or Firebase) with libraries such as react-qr-scanner and jspdf, this system delivers real-time, user-friendly, and eco-conscious ticketing.
