Abstract
This study examines the effect of environmental enrichment on foraging behavior and reproductive success in a common bird species. Environmental enrichment, which includes various stimuli and elements designed to increase environmental complexity, has been proposed as a means of improving the overall well-being of captive animals. In the context of generalist bird species exhibiting flexible strategies for foraging and reproductive adaptation, understanding the impact of enriched environments becomes essential. The research uses a multivariate approach that combines behavioral observations, ecological assessments and analyzes of reproductive outcomes to elucidate the complex relationships between environmental complexity, foraging patterns and reproductive success. By shedding light on these dynamics, the findings aim to contribute valuable insights into avian ecology and conservation strategies, highlighting the importance of environmental enrichment in promoting the well-being and adaptability of common bird species in different habitats.
